Trek Project One Review

Trek has done the Project One program for a number of years now, but I really don’t think people understand the true value of this program. Most people think that Trek’s Project One program is just a way of making a color coordinated bike. While you can pick out every color of almost every part, [...]

2010 Bontrager Race X Lite Wheels

For 2010, Bontrager has made some big changes to their wheels. The first and most obvious is they have switched to a traditional spoke pattern. Gone are the paired spokes. Another less obvious change is that Bontrager has moved away from DT Swiss and gone with their own hub design.

Along with new graphics, Bontrager is [...]

Bontrager Inform RXL Saddle

Saddle Overview:
Bontrager offers this saddle in three widths, each size has its own size-specific curvature which helps with matching between the sit bones and pelvic structure for most riders. Bontrager is also using what they call “Zone Density foam” which is basically softer nose padding and stiffer sit bone padding.

The rails for the saddle are [...]

New 2010 Madone

My new 2010 Project One Trek Madone just came into my local bike shop. Can’t wait to get out and climb some hills. The Race X Lite wheels are about a pound less than my 2008 bontrager race wheels.

This bike is basically a Project One 5.9 Madone. The specs are almost the same as the [...]

Bontrager Node Overview

I was really happy to see Trek/ Bontrager update their line of digital cycling computers. I currently own a Trek Incite Team edition. I have been using it for about a year now and put a little more than 3,000 miles on it.

They made a few upgrades to the Node over the Incite and the [...]

Will Kids still need training wheels?

I really thought this was cool idea. It is a replacement for training wheels. There is a wheel within a wheel creating centrifugal force to keep you up. Checkout the YouTube
