Bontrager Node Overview

I was really happy to see Trek/ Bontrager update their line of digital cycling computers. I currently own a Trek Incite Team edition. I have been using it for about a year now and put a little more than 3,000 miles on it.

They made a few upgrades to the Node over the Incite and the largest in my mind was the price point! Now you can get a wireless digital computer with cadence, heart rate, power and even a nutrition timer for under $85.00. When I got my Team Incite I remember not being able to get the sub $100 version (Incite DW) because you could not use heart rate or cadence. The Incite DW was digital, but only allows for speed and that was just not worth it to me.

The Node Computer comes in two different versions: 1 (85.00 MSRP) & 2 (149.99 MSRP) The only difference is the Node 2 has an altimeter. Very cool addition, but not worth the extra cost for me.
